CMOS images sensors offer a variety of benefits such as a higher noise to signal ratio for ultra-sharp pictures and in general CMOS image sensors are more reliable than CCD due to their method of construction and design. The Messoa SDM125 provides a variety of additional benefits thanks to its innovative design, such as simple installation that never requires removing the dome cover.  The unit requires 12VDC power input and is an excellent choice for applications requiring low budget CCTV security camera systems.
